BNH 8000 - Body Buck Ground Detect
This system addresses the most important variable of your electrostatic painting line. As you are aware, the paint thickness (film build) of the paint on a part, in an electrostatic painting line is directly related to the proper grounding of the part being painted. A part that is properly grounded allows the relatively weak electrostatic forces to work to the best of their ability. The electrostatic forces draw more of the paint being applied, to the part, achieving maximum transfer efficiency and maximum film build. The BNH 8000 is a compact robot and control system to automatically sense the ground potential of your product prior to the paint booth. Improperly grounded parts are flagged and can be dealt with before any paint is applied. I will leave the cost savings calculations and the obvious improvements to quality and paint performance to you. The manipulator is constructed of aircraft aluminum, buffed to a high gloss for solvent resistance and ease of cleaning in a plant/paint environment. All field connections are of the quick disconnect style for installation and service purposes. The arm is force sensitive to accommodate for "out of position" bodies/bucks through the ground detect process. Specifications
